    Hi I just signed up I've had a 1998. 316i since I was 16 it's just been sat on the drive now I finally can get insured for good price I've put my punto gt on drive and started driving the BMW

    I want to lower it but unsure weather to use springs or coilovers

    Springs will still feel comfortable but coilovers will make the ride harsher

    other side to the argument is new lowered springs on tired old shocks aint great either

    I was going to get new springs and shocks but by the time I done that I could of bought coilovers

    mind me asking how much you paying for insurance for the 316i and your age?
    Currently, I'm paying £164 per month and I'm 20 y/o and 2 year NCB at the time of purchase.

    Driven by experience and pleasure
