I just inherited a 328i E36 Touring from my Dad as he no longer uses it and my Golf GTI Mk4 has decided it no longer likes using it's gears.

I'm an avid DIY mechanic and looking forward to having a play and curing some of this beast's current issues.

    Anyway, Hi!

Need to buy a New car and was hoping for some advice what to watch out for and what would be a good model to get? I'm currently interested in the 325d M Sport Auto (with shifters) coupe 2009, E92 and has done 70k miles, is there anything I need to look out for and if so what? Are there any common faults with the high millage ones?

I'd Appreciate any advice I can get.

    Kind regards

    David
