Good Day, fellow Enthusiasts.
I am Nick Workman, I live in Swansea, South Wales, originally from a small village just south of bristol, a carrot cruncher or farmer you might say.
I don't have a BMW (yet).
I have had various BMW's over previous years, last 2 were 328CI SE E46 Silver and 318i E46 saloon in black. A long time ago i had a D Reg E30 with a 400bhp Cosworth engine, and sold it to a guy in Bournemouth and he put an M3 body kit on it and painted it orange anyone seen it, or remember it?
Anyway reason for my being here is, I am looking for a E36 Convertible, as late a year as possible, T, V or W reg if poss, but I have been struggling to find anything that catches my eye.
I would like a different colour to the norm, ie. burnt orange or similar but its looking unlikely. I have up to around £4000 to spend.
I have a dilemma of, shall I buy one with the m-tech kit on already or buy a standard one and fit it all myself, question being, will it be cost efficient to buy all the bits and have them resprayed, or cheaper to buy one with the bits on already from factory, as I will have to pay out more initially for the kitted up car.
Best Wishes and speak soon,
