hello boys and girls hope you can help i have recently bought a 318i se touring sport its a late 98 on a s reg in a rare green factory sport spec with all the m-tech kit/suspension and black headlining its in need of a bit of love as was slightly damaged after a branch had fallen onto it so will need some bits obviously i will post that in wanted section this is my first e36 ive owned various e30's e34's e28's e32's e39's e38's so this will be another to the list not to familiar with the e36 but firstly want to sort out the exterior of the car before i move onto the interior are all e36 saloon/touring bodypanels the same i believe theres a facelift what would have changed as i need a couple of panels and dont want to end up buying the wrong parts.

    Regards

    bavarian sport

    Hi Bavarian sport,WQelcome to Bimmerforums.co.uk..........

The front end of a touring and saloon are interchangeable-I have touring doors on my saloon
The facelift has different indicators on the wings and a different nose panel which takes different grills than standard

    And another
Check your rear screen jet wash hose behind the ns light cluster. There is a joint there that I suggest you silicone if it hasn't already started spraying water all over the electrical connections when the jet is activated. Also if you have an aux fan behind the kidney grills make sure it turns
