Right my first bimmer didnt go too well see below:

    http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...d-318i-t68507/

So was put off of "cheap" BMW'S until this came along. Was expecting it to go for +1k and just thought i'd bump the price and maybe get lucky. Which I did

I don't have any pictures right now as its dark outside but in the morning I will be cleaning her so will take alot for you all to see.

Spec is: 1996 520i SE Auto 137k 11months MOT no tax private plate valued at £400-£550. I have no idea what the xtras are on the car or if i actually have any to be honest. I also have no idea how things on the car work lol. All the way home I was sweating as I couldnt figure out how to turn off the heaters!

history is missing but im going to ring around some BMW stealers to see if I can find anything out about the car. For the last MOT it had a new tyre new bulbs and the anti roll bars replaced.

Car started from cold i checked the engine was stone cold. Started first turn, temp came up to midway and stayed there after 10-15mins. The auto-box is slightly winey but changes into and out of all gears in D and sport mode. Coolant was 1/2 full but will be getting drained and refilled properly tomorrow morning. Air bag light is on and has been for a while by the looks of it as there is a sticky residue where something has been stuck over it.

Did a 30mile trip home temp gauage didnt move all gears selected fine, drove faultless! Am very happy with her to be honest. Pics to follow!

Right thought i'd do some before and after pics the before pics i have the after pics will be taken later on as my back is giving me some severe stick today.

Anyways upon closer inspection i have found the following things wrong:

this light doesnt want to work (bulb to be replaced)

These 3 cigarette burns (leather interior to come)

Drivers side handle is also scratched

Hinge well and truly ***ked! (new one will have to be bought)

Other than that here re some dirty pics of exactly how she was when picked up then driven 30 miles home

Think it may have had leather in at some point as the door cards are leather? The spare is and alloy which is a bonus. Paint work is above average for the age of the car. Interior will need a bloody good clean! All lovely car cheap as chips

Apologies for the poor pis but the photubucket app on my phone makes me lazy!
