    Fair enough, don't take on a job that you are not comfortable doing.

    It sounds daunting, but is probably one of the easier jobs you can do on any rear wheel drive car if you don't mind lying on your back

    My mechanic reckons its a 4-5 hr job. Do you think the prics I have been quoted are correct? £250 -diff, £200 labour?

    Not sure on the cost of the diff......£40 to £50 an hour sounds a little expensive tho
