    Hi people,

Just become a bmw owner for the first time ever, never even driven one before, I am used to japanese cars, my previous car was a 600bhp 300zx I have had 3, legnums scoobys etc, I now own a 1997 323 touring in dark blue with the alpina kit and wheels and must say it is a lovely car to drive, build quality is exeptional. What things should I look out for and what is a must when owning a bm.

My name is leigh and live in pembrokeshire

If I could afford it i would have another z tomorrow, the BM is a lot more practical and is great for getting my rottie in, not bad on fuel either.

a few things to look out for are bushes, sensors, airleaks, and the odd bit of rust on the rear arches
they do like a good servicing as well
if you go on to the search and look for m50 inlet manifold conversion you will find all the information you need for fitting a 325 inlet manifold to free up some power

    welcome to the forum
