    Hi everyone.
Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forums, I'm 21 and currently driving a 04 Reg BMW 3 SERIES 320 Cd M Sport (I'll try and add a few pictures if I can figure it out). I'm completely new to motoring... I've never changed a tire, or done anything mechanical.

    The Good.
What can I say? I'm completely in love with my BM! I've only had it for three weeks, but it has completely changed my prospective of driving.

    The Bad.
I curbed one of my alloys when I was reversing out my street, not something I wish to repeat ever again. I had to have my front two tires replaced, due to a puncture, and then they informed me that I had to get new pads/disks for my brakes. (They said about £500? What do are your opinions? DIY? Cost? etc)

    The Ugly.
All the chat about swirl flaps has given my the creeps, and I'm scared to drive my beauty. I've done my research on the forums, and bought Total BMW with the article about the swirl flaps, but I can't find my engine number to see if my model has been effected (Any hints?).
In the magazine they make it look simple but if I even think about operating I'm scared s***less. And if it all went pete-tong would have to pay more money in the end to repair the damage I may have caused?

Thanks for reading, looking forward to your comments.
    Dave

I'll look into it, probally next month-ish. I've been told front and back.
Just had a look at your motor mate, wicked colour. Did you get it painted or buy it like that? Did you own Angel Eye conversation?

Regarding your swirl flap question, yes your car has them :(

See in the e46 section for more info
