    Hi Everyone,

It all started back in June 2007 when I convince my father to buy a e39 1997 528i with 120,000km and since then he has spent a lot of money replacing the entire cooling system and bits & pieces. Bought it for $10k and spent probably about $5k.

Just when we thought all is fine, the gearbox started playing up, couldn't shift from 1-2 smoothly, it jerks like hell when cold. Anyway sold that in Sept 2008 due to the gearbox problem.

In the mean time, I had bought myself a e46 2000 328ci in Dec 2007. It's been two years since I have own it, and have not had to spend as much as my father yet probably because it is only 70,000km.

Have installed a Rainbow SLC speakers on the front, taken the rears out. Put a ultra slim Kicker sub and a entry model Soundstream amp in the boot. The sounds are unbelievable.

Have also put on a MSport SMG Steering wheel lol

Loves going out for a long drive, so much fun. Handles like a dream for the average man, would say it's a dream car (for now)... Just wish it was more comfortable as in less rattle, less road noise, less vibration through seats on long drives like a 5 series but I will live with it because the handling is great.

    Tony

Just the other day i sold some junk on trademe a New Zealand equivalent of eBay. (we don't use eBay down here) and thought this Internet thing is great I could turn junk into cash and I mean junk... instruction books, broken electronics, old tyres

I was looking for some help and then saw others needed my help and decided to be a member in the UK forum. Mind you there are some hardout members in the US forum. Is it just me or is it right, US members spend so much modifying their BMW, more than NZ & UK... And yes I am enjoying the forum, spent yesterday morning replying as much as I could...
