Hi guys I`m a new convert to BMW having spent the past twenty years as a VW owner.
Now seems to be the time to lose the GTI and get something more age appropriate !!!!
So the GTI has gone and in its place an 07 plate 335D Msport !!! Something nice and sedate !!!!
What a difference and so so smooth in comparison to my old GTI !!
Anyway glad to be on here and looking for any tips or tricks to try on my new machine

Keep an eye out for rattling waste gates, it has happened to a few of them and cost mega money to fix

Rattling wastegates was an issue on the 335i, never heard of an issue on the d

Check the boost hose on the drivers side, the rubber seals inside often fail, you'll know if you need to replace the seals, the pipe will be covered in oil!

I'll stick a build thread up over the weekend, I've done afew things to mine - might be of interest to you
