OP says he doesn't like/want mods though! He probably wouldn't want to remap it either. Not really sure what he wants in a car apart from a civic! Even though he could probably get a tire shredding 240hp with a remap, enough to smash the civic I am sure.

It sounds like the OP isn't really a car fan and wouldn't be happy with many cars. Not much we can do to help him really. Sell the car, get something cheap and old and then don't worry about your car apart from it getting from A to B.

Some of us love cars and driving, some of us are A to B people.

woooow just wooow, everyone just assume they know me because of this forum..
i don't know much about BMW doesn't mean i don't like car.. i like cars and not brand of cars, im not saying civic is amazing car, i just think it looks good, i know this is a BMW forum but i didnt know it was also a biased forum.... i only wanted some unbiased advice.

im sure if the micra had a bmw badge on it u guys would be all over it. theres no need to knock other car down just because you dont like it, everyone has different taste, im sure in a civic forum there be saying bmw is sh*t..

anyway no need to reply anymore, i found a buyer... and thanks for not helping!

I personally agree BMW 1 coupes are 'boring to look at' unless as said slightly and subtley modified ie slightly lowered (20/30mm) on eibach pros to keep comfort and some BMW big wheels.... I can see what you mean as well next to a civic it will look very boring becouse civic is brash and in your face! Trust me I love civic type rs the version before current but the new one is ugly and I bet he comes out his house and thinks wow that's a nice car with class I'm climbing into a tin can boy racer car!
I haven't read all the thread becouse I'm on my phone but we probably don't assume we know you but If you wanted a nice sporty looking var keep yours lower it with big wheels and stick a m-style kit on it so it looks factory standard but has a wow factor! OOORRRRR go swap it in and just get a proper three coupe then you will be the dogs danglies!

woow thank for that, see, that the kinda of advice i want. i like cars, but sometime it annoy me when people say they know cars, but dont actually kno anything but there own car.

trust me, when my neighbor walks out, he doesnt think that of BM..1- he doesn't like BM ...2- if you know what his other cars is you wouldn't say that.

as mention,i dont like to to mod or do anything to the car, just standard, the way it came out from the showroom, im sure a lot of people will disagree with me, but have you seen the new M1?? just look... well crap...
but thanks for commenting, i found a buyer now, so hopefully i wont be on here much longer

Mate tbh you havee a brilliant car id chase the modification route as the car will be truly yours and no one car will be exactly the same as yours and youll have the feel good thing when youbsee a standard one. Ebay is a great place to start even get some carbon wrap or splitters for the car. The honda is a great car dont get me wrong but it all depends on what tipper (type r) it is. If its the newest one i think its a very marmite car and i think the older one is better but as both generations become cheaper you will see them gathering the wrong attention as boy racers can afford them. Just my two cents
