Buyer's remorse.... premium car = high expectations, therefore more easily let down by ownership... you could read Alain de Botton's book 'Status Anxiety' and the bit about 'Acquisition Achievement Satisfaction' for more details. Or...

...buy a clapped out old astra or focus and enjoy the fact that you still have your money in the bank. Who cares if it gets knocked or scuffed. Never have to wash it. Run it into the ground. Find a different 'hobby' to satisfy your desire for perfection.

My neighbours have owned one crap car after another and never spend over £2K - but they are always happy about their cars and take the moral high ground over spending loads on a fancy car. They let their kids use them as goal posts.

Guess they are deep down jealous of my nice 57 plater. Or maybe not.
Don't let your perceptions of other peoples viewpoints over your choice of car make you feel you've made a bad choice.

There are many who would love to own your car, and many more who will never.

    enjoy!

I have to agree with the other comments. If the styling is the only thing you don't like about the car you were a bit of a bonehead buying it!
I can only assume you did like it when you bought it but you're now having a case of "keeping up with the Joneses"!
If that's the case it won't matter if you buy a 6 series, sooner or later you'll park next to an Aston!

You are comparing at the looks stage, so lets look at things objectively, whilst you may have a bit of emotion in there.

    ENGINE
Honda technoilogically fab, max power, zero torque
BMW, fab engine, big power, bigger torque.

    LOOKS
Honda go faster boy racer, BMW understated. Big rims set the 1 series off

    ECONOMY
    Honda nil, BMW several more

    RELIABILITY
    Honda faultless, BMW less so.

So for the £4k minimum you will lose, spens a grand on top wheels and hey presto, ticks all the boxes.
2013, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, PDK, Sports Exhaust, Chrono, etc, etc
