not that i know of. as long as the right amount of light is let through, which according to them it is, then i dont see why it would be? thats just my thinking tho, could be wrong
your quite right
"Quite common within the motoring community at the younger end of the population is the fitting of blue sidelights especially at the front, again a guaranteed MoT fail as the regulations require they must show a steady white light to the front, or a yellow light, if incorporated in a headlamp which emits a yellow light"
quite easy to remove though, so apply straight after MOT and your good for the year
Welcome along mate.
I like black kidney grills they are next on the list for me, obviously I already have front splitters.., erm you probably already have HID lights (I don't) and will be getting them soon from here
eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
Also I'm getting my iPod wired into the existing head unit by a guy I know - sick of CDS!
Another thing I'm doing is having my wheels refurbed in dark anthracite today - hopefully will look smart..
Those are my thoughts! Oh and Gemrman plates if you're willing to risk the £60 fine
i do have the HID lights, and anthracite wheels, they look awesome!
how are you doing your ipod into the head unit (im assuming you have the factory fitted one in), could the same thing be done with the satnav screen head unit u think?
i think black kidney grills are next for me too, that and splitters. having a little trouble finding them for facelift at a decent price tho. i also have my eye on piano black trim for dash. i have the carbon one at the moment, and i know its really sought after but im not a fan. its got a few scuffs on it that put me off it
I am using this guy to do the iPod thing... If you want mods done he's the best I've found really knows his stuff ex bmw mechanic at a fraction of the dealer price - I'm sure he will find a way of making it work in yours
A recomendation very cheap BMW specialist in the NW
You'll find the splitters on eBay Mstyle in Essex do a good price just had to replace mine they came to £50..
I'm also looking at a coil over kit it's an offer on this site actually - would look great but I live in "speed bump city" so I'm still undecided.
thats very good to know, im up that way sometimes for work aswell, infact bought the car not far from there. there and back from home will cost about £60 fuel but well worth it by the sound of things if i can get a list of jobs together. only looking at angel eyes, grill, german plates and splitters atm so prob not worth the journey or his time for small jobs. might save the angel eyes tho, would rather someone with a bit of experience did them i think.
haha i know what you mean about speedbumps. iv just had eibach springs put on mine, getting it back this afternoon hopefully
