    Hey everyone,

Have been browsing the forum for a while and thought I'd introduce myself seen as the 328 is looking nice and shiny after a good Autoglym session!

I have been on the E46zone forum for a while but thought I'd join here as it seemed more relevant to my new car.

Originally had an E46 328Ci which I loved but now its getting warmer I decided to fulfill one of my dreams and buy a convertible.

Didn't know what I wanted, thought of an A4, Saab 9-3... but after looking at them I decided against the idea as they didn't have the spec I was looking for.

So I did some research on the E36 convertible and came across one on pistonheads - travelled down to see it and ended up buying it.

Has some nice extras such as dual climate, 18 button OBC, cruise, white sports leather, chrome interior pack and full electric hood.

As I was going down a model I didn't want to be disappointed as my E46 had most of the options selected when new so I was happy when I came across this one as the specs were similar.

    Anyway here she is:

    Plans are :

New alloys - M3 Contours or Motorsports
New audio - headunit, speakers sub and amp
    M3 lip spoiler
    HIDs
New rear window as it is very cloudy and hard to see!
    Restore the hood and interior
    Get some new mats
    New exhaust
    M50 conversion and remap
Freshen the bonnet, front wings and bumper up with a respray

With regards to the audio, I have attached 2 pictures of the speakers - could somebody kindly advise what size speakers I would need to buy to replace the OEM's?

And lastly does anyone know what should of been here?

Thanks in advance and hope to speak to you in the future !

    Matt

Thanks for the replies - I thought it might be for a cd changer but the headunit doesn't have an option for cd but I suppose it would have to be plugged in!

I thought there might have been an amp there because it it says it has an upgraded sound system in the options list - god knows what was upgraded because the sound is horrendous! No bass whatsoever and it distorts loads when loud, nothing like my old E46 standard setup :-(

Oh well I'll do my own upgrade :-)
