I have a 1.5hour drive to pick her up, so my first drive will be a mixture of Motorway, Dual Carriage way and A Roads....I just hope all goes well.

    Wish me luck

    Cheers

... will post some pics later (all being well - lol)
    Good luck!

I know for a fact you will enjoy the drive home!!! Trust yourself... If you know what your looking for it will all be OK!

    Hi all,

OK, all back safe and sound with my latest E46 (this is the current of a long list of BMs - still miss my E46 M3, but for now this will do). Drove nice, with no red lights on the dashboard

Here are some pics (just drove through 1.5 hrs of rain and muck so car not looking too good, but hopefully you get the picture...

Will put some more up when i get her cleaned and get started on her :-)

next step is Inspection II on Friday and a general check over....

    Cheers
    Neil

    thanks All.

Ok I have given the girl a a very quick wash (but no leather off as I was in a rush) so thought I would add a couple more pic with the grimme washed off :-)

As you can see the seats need a really good clean - about to Order some Liquid Leather (anyone suggest any other product?)

Also looking at RIMs - standard look good, but wondering what other people have - I will search the forum and maybe start another thread..

    thanks
    Neil

I'll say it again... It looks lovely!

Do you have any plans to do anything to it?

well tbh i brought this as my daily driver - as I have an Audi TT 260bhp Convertible as my 'play car'....however, it is hard to just leave a car standard.

I might look at new rims and audio upgrade.

Performance wise, what can you really do the 325? being a non turbo I dont see how you can get really big improvements? is it possible?

Well... Performance can be slightly improved with a induction kit, exhaust and remap but really to make it perform is dump a Supercharger on it...

Alloys have you got an idea of what you like?

I see you already have the Clubsport Gear knob on there! You could add a short shifter kit on it?
