    Hi everyone,

this is my first post - Hello!

I am hoping to view and purchase the following car today:

    - 325 Sport
    - manual transmission
    - 2003 year
    - saloon
    - 50K miles
    - FSH
    - 2 Former Keepers

if all goes well I will upload some pictures when I pick her up

I am looking for subtle Mods to personalise her, but I will ask about this in another thread (after I have used the 'Search is your friend tool') - unless can point me to a thread that will help me

    Cheers

    Neil

Hi everyone - thanks for the welcome.

Just back from seeing the car, which I have decided to buy ! Needs a good clean, and I will get it serviced for piece of mind.

Hopeully pick-it up next week, as i am away on work for a bit.....

Question: the looks like it has not been used much (only 4k in the last 14months) - apart from an Inspection II service, what else should I be looking for? or replacing?

Hi and welcome along to Bimmerforums UK, it's good to have you on board.

Front lower control arm bushes if the car feels a bit loose up front, common enough and easy to change, also get the rear road springs checked as they can break, 2 for starters, should be pretty good seeing as it is low mileage.

    thanks Andy.

I pick up my 325 this morning. It is 05:57 and I have been up for 2 hours . It is always the same for me, worried about buying a lemon. You do the best you can do on a test drive etc, and now just hope the car is a good one.

I have a 1.5hour drive to pick her up, so my first drive will be a mixture of Motorway, Dual Carriage way and A Roads....I just hope all goes well.

    Wish me luck

    Cheers
    Neil

... will post some pics later (all being well - lol)
