Hello all, just saying Hi really.

I just recently bought a project car and yes of course its a BMW and thought I would come to you guys for any tips and tricks I may require in the future.

I bought a BMW 320i which has the Straight 6 Engine you probably know that, I am guessing its an E36 but I could be wrong (the year of the car is 1994).

Engines been to the Moon and back 189k on clock but my Dad owned it in his life and I thought it would be funny to rock up on it as he always used to say to me ("Thats the worst thing I ever did get rid of that bimmer") .

Noticed a bit of moisture in the lights I need to sort out and 3 out of the 4 arches need redoing because rust is seeming to take it over.

The car also has an M3 kit on it with Alpina Wheels and the car has been lowered.

Lastly few dents I need to sort out and the car will be stunning with Sentimental and Personal Value.

That's my intro and hope to get to know you all soon.

    Regards

    Martin

Hi Martin, welcome to the forum.
Get some pics of the BM up
Sounds like a E36 to me, couldnt be much else.
My old E36 had moisture in the lights too as did my TT I had last year, not much to worry about only it looks a bit crap but dries up when the lights are on.

welcome, nice looking motor !! with the lights either break them and replace seals or use vaseline to re-seal or drill a hole on either side (low and main beam) and tape a silica gel bag over the hole. soaks upthe moisture.
