    Hi everyone I'm Rob.
I've finally bought my first Beemer after long years of waiting.
It's a '94 325i coupe in Boston Green and it's got it's fair share of issues as you'd expect for a 19 year old car that cost £650!
It will hopefully turn into a really nice motor and I have a lot of plans for it.

I've always wanted a BM but haven't been able to afford the insurance, it's still criminal now to be honest.
I've owned a VW and a Ford so I'm sure I will have a lot of questions on the way.

Anyway I'm just looking to meet some people, get some advice and have some fun.

Just a few pictures of her.

There are some repairs needed before I start any performance increasing.
Drivers door will not stay open and the interior door trim is hanging off slightly and the door handle surround is missing.
Passenger door window rattles when driving,
Stereo was not present when I bought the car, I have a new head unit but there is a connector missing from the car,
Wheels need refurbishing after a rough treatment from kwik fit,
Suspension requires replacing, will be replaced with some nice coilovers.
Brake hoses are starting to degrade and will be replaced with black diamond ones,
slight oil leak from rear diff,
slight oil leak from unknown place in engine bay,
Drivers seat is worn on the side and will be replaced,
Engine has a worrying rattle. At first I thought it was due to the oil but this has been replaced today and the noise is still there. After searching online I think it could be either a loose timing chain or a faulty lifter.
Paint on spoiler is tatty and will require replacing or respraying.
    rear arches starting to rust,

Once all of this is done I plan to fit some uprated brakes,
    Performance panel filter/CAI kit,
    Uprated clutch,
    lightened flywheel and pulleys,
    Silicone intake hoses,
Lexus style lights replaced with either smoked or M3 style ones,
    ECU chip,
    M3 bumper and side skirts,
    maybe a CF vented bonnet,
New complete exhaust system including sports Cat,

This is my first N/A engine, so I am not sure what else I could do to increase power and any advice would be appreciated.
I might consider weight reduction but I do like the leather interior.

Can you not get an adaptor? I had to get one from Halfords for my BMW and my previous car (Hyundai).

    Driven by experience and pleasure

Those rear lights are awful but the rest of the car looks clean enough for the money.

Haha I know the lights are awful and I have no idea why anyone would put them on. I have a receipt for £170 for them!
I have noticed another annoying issue, it has been poorly de-badged and there is a load of glue stuck on really hard. Tried bug and tar remover and heating it up, no luck.

I went to Halfords and asked but they said they can't sell me just the adaptor. I'd either have to pay them £59.99 to fit it, or buy a load of wires and some clips and hard wire it in. I have absolutely no idea how to do that and I am not going to pay £60 for the sake of a small piece of plastic.

How much are you asking for them?

They're gone now. Although I'll have some mire with orange indicators.
Would be about £20/30 depending on postage
