hey guys after years of dreaming about bmw's ive finally been able to get one, its an e36 323i coupe, really excited about it. however the guy i bought it off said after he had the rear pads changed the abs light stays on, is this a problem i should be worried about and will it pass another m.o.t? really would apreciate some feedback, thanks.

Welcome. Mot fail. He may have disturbed a sensor, you best bet is to get it plugged in and to pinpoint the problem.

well i pick the car up tomorrow, ive already left 200 quid deposit. i just phoned him and he said its not the abs light, its the handbrake light. he said when he got the rear pads replaced he didnt get the rear brake sensors connected. does this sound right, i didnt look at the warning light myself so can u tell me what it will look like if it is abs, will it be abs light up in red?

If it's just the pad sensor then it's not a problem, it'll cost under a tenner for a new one.
