    Hello, just bought my second BMW, my last one was an e36 328i touring, but this is a different beast entirely, doesen't feel as nippy, but it sure isn't slow!!
    Unfortunately 1 key doesn't work which is a pain, and the rear tyres need changing but other than that all is good

    Thanks guys!! I've just totted added up the parts cost of an Inspection 2 service, £265 from Europarts (all OE quality bits), but that also includes a water pump, which apparently are notorious for breaking on the E46 fanatics forum - or is that just an American thing I'm not sure.... But doesn't include the diff fluid, brake fluid or the tyres. Thinking of getting some Bridgestones for the tyres, they seem to be well rated.

    The water pumps are really common for going wrong on the e46. but that's for another thread, so hello again and feel free to start a thread in the other forums
