    Hi I'm matt. Im 23.

Im really into my vw's. But I've always wanted something rwd. Iv litterally just picked up a 318. Not gunna lie it's abit of a dog. Needs a good clean inside and out, both front windows come off the runners when you go to put em up. When you first start, it try's to die if ya dont hold the rev's up abit to start with.
I need to source a jack i can use on it, doesnt use a standard car jack.
First thing's i wanna do is sort the start issue out. Window's get leather interior. Then lower it and wheels.

Not sure what else to say. So I'll post some pic's of previous car's I've owned and go from there.....

Welcome form a recent VW forumite as well. Just changed my Mk5 Golf GT TDi for a 320td Compact. Only reason to change was it was about half the price (I'm saving for a house) and I've a BMW before. You'll find there's loads of helpful DIY's and tutorials here but not half as much 'activity' or people posting on a dialy basis, unlike most VW forums. I was on mk5golfgti.co.uk for a couple of years and still log on from time to time.

There are other BMW forums; bmwland and e46fanatics, etc where you'll find theyre more active than here.

I'm trying to keep it lively with my posts (have started a build thread, etc). Stick around and see what you think. :-D

Alright mate, I'm still on UKpassats. I recognise that motor. I'm guessing you've sold it.

Welcome Matt, also a member on UKpassats. It's right that other forums are more active but this is a relatively new forum and is building all the time. Got some helpful advice so far from here.

I'm also over on this forum BMFI

I see I'm just over the water from you as well
