Alrite,, google threw out lots of bmw forums but I thought this one looked promising so I joined up.

I currently drive a modified honda civic type r, but I want a bmw of some form as my next car so I thought I would join up and find out about the car first instead of the other way about for once.

If money was no object then I would go for one of the latest m3's , but I think thats not likely to happen for a while so instead I my heart set on a 330d possibly. The m3 csl is also on the wishlist but they are getting on a bit in age now

Anyway at this point its all a dream

    Welcome to the forum Terry

You dont have to own a BM to be welcome here.....
being a car enthusiast will do it

On your car list....an M3 CSl may be getting on 'a little' but they are still one of the most awesome 'affordable' cars ever made IMHO.

330ds are also a great choice, and have come down in price now to a sensible level it seems.

Hi mate! I just sold my modified CTR and bought me a 330d Sport! I needed 4 doors due to my wife giving birth to my second son and I am doing lots of miles so I went for diesel. The drive is totally different to the CTR, my CTR was the best car I have ver owned in terms of fun and motoring enjoyment but the BMW is a different class, just nowhere near as much fun to drive!

I have previously owned a 330i Sport so I knew all about BMW's and found a bargain with the one I bought!

Here is a pic of my new beast!

Nice choice, IIRC Autologic do a remap for your model so it produces more power

Any garage that has a Autologic scanner should be able to do the upgrade, The BMW specialist I used to work for did one on a 330d and the guy and the technician that did it said it was alot better.

I wouldnt bother with autologic Obbzi

Either of these two tuners are very high quality and will be able to provide a quality remap at a fair price for your car

    Bell auto services

    or alternatively

    DNA tuning
