Thought I would say hello, just bought a early E91 325i tourer, waiting hourly til Saturday when I can collect it. It is replacing a Seat Leon FR which I didn't change at all while I had it (leased) so looking forward to enjoying the car a bit and then finding some things to meddle with

    Hi Dexter

    Welcome to the forum

Sounds like a nice upgrade from the Leon to me.....(though don't get me wrong, I like them and they are great cars for the money)

Dont forget to post some pictures up when you have picked it up

Theres a members gallery or in this thread alternatively

Welcome to the forum DexterBerkeley, good to have you aboard

I'm not impressed with the Seat Leon FR diesel, my boss has one, new, done 740 miles and has broken down twice

I had or still have right now a petrol one, essentially the same as a MkV GTI, and at the time it was cheaper to buy a new FR than a used Golf! Mine has been reliable for the 2 years and 30K I have had it for except for one of the window switches giving up the ghost!

They are great hot hatches but eventually I was sat in traffic on a motorway bouncing on every single bump with my left leg getting tiered and surounded by cheap plastic and thought I just want something comfortable with space, but still quick and a good drive, which I have found

Will be sorry to see my Leon go though, but can't say I will miss it's one major design flaw, front wheel drive!
