    Hi all,

Have joined the forum to start finding my way around and learn a bit about the cars before I buy one. So I am afraid that I am not an owner yet, but having never had a BMW before, I thought that joining here would be a good place to start. I am looking to buy an E30 3 Series Touring in the near future. I think that my budget will restrict me to a bit of a project, so am currently reading everything I can find while I scan the market, including old threads off here - seems a good community.

Hi Simon and welcome on board

Good luck in the search for your E30 touring, there can't be that many around these days?

Thank you very much - no, not as many as there were when I was a kid. Guess I'm coming over all nostalgic for the 1980s! I have looked at a few, but I'm having to put a few miles under my belt to get round them. Feels like a tour of the British Isles at the moment lol.
