Hi i am new and I am looking to buy a 1 series.

I had a test drive in the 118i m sport and i did enjoy it and like the car but felt the engine was a tad lame.

I currently have a 57 reg civic type r. I need to decide if i want power or style.

But a question i have is, can the ecu be changed to have the output of the 130?

Is it the same enginer in the car but just gives different power output?

    Thanks for your help

    Dean

    Welcome to the site Dean

Your best bet is to use the Search function on the site at the top, or post your questions regarding the 1-Series in the General BMW Discussion section - you'll get far more responses there

    hello hello

No chance of getting the 118I to b eanything like the 130 mate, 4 cylinder versus 6 cyliner, 2 litre versus 3 litre etc etc
