    Hi Everyone,
Just got my first Bimmer in 15 years its a 2000 318ti, my last BMW was a
'88 E30 325i Sport, just bought some 18" MV's, next is the suspension and an air induction kit.
I'm just finding out the Compact is an amalgamation of different models, E30 dash, E36 front, front springs are E36 and I think the back are the same as the Z3.

So I'll be posting with quite alot of questions, nearly forgot, I'm based in S.London and run a Private Investigation agency.

Welcome to the forum PDXti, good to have you with us

The Ti is indeed a mix, it pretty much has e30 rear suspension, nearly the same as Z3.

    Welcome to the forum PDXti...

    your car looks very nice

As a year 2000 model that must be the very last of the E36 compacts I would guess?
Either way, great cars to get spares for and so reliable its just not funny (provided they are looked after of course)

    And a PI as well
I bet thats an interesting job!

    PDXti, welcome to the forum

Private Investigator, wow... that sounds awesome.

What do you specialise in, do you spend nights in your car spying on people or is that just not done anymore

Thanks for the replies, to see what I specialise in see my website www.paramountia.co.uk, (had to get the plug in)
As for being one of the last compacts it was built 07/2000 and I believe they stopped production 10/2000.

Got to say this is a great friendly site, cheers Guys

I've got a big family saloon to do my james bond bit, so look out for someone looking *pi**ed off hiding round the corner looking like a cabbie* whilst secretly checking out your motor
