    Hello.

This week I've picked myself up a really nice E46 2.2 manual Coupe, I've come from a french car background (not sure how that'll go down here ) and am a regular over on Cliosport.net.

Hopefully I'll find the answers to a lot of questions I'll no doubt have here, I already have a few I could do with opinions on.

I'm quite a fan of having a go myself so no doubt I'll come across various things I'll need help with.

    The new motor:

As you can see, I seem to have a fair bit of camber on the rear (something I'm yet to look into).

So yeah, I'll be doing some basic servicing in the new year and I'll be reading up until then.

Hi and welcome along to Bimmerforums UK, it's good to have you on board.

Get the rear springs checked out as they are known to snap either on the top ends or bottom ends. Feel carefully for a sharp jagged broken bit.

    Hi Ronnie,

Cheers for the advice, I'll give it a look over. I've seen that there's a bush that could cause the camber in the rear too so once I've found out a little more I'll check that out too.

Seems to be a lot of decent information and a nice active community here too.
