Hi guys, I'm tim and im 20, and im new to this site and bmws, my first car was a vauxhall nova 1.4, so its a bit of a step up for me . I bought my bmw E36 323i a few days ago, when i went to test drive the car i fell inlove with it! it has a few body work issues such as a dent in the near side wing where some one has reversed into it and the odd stone chip to the paintwork, but that is to be expected on a 132k mile car right? it has other issues but i will post these in the correct forums

What other common problems do i need to be aware of??

    thanks in advance

    Welcome to the forum mate.

Yes indeed.....i would say its not a step up from your Nova........but a whole bloody flight of them.

Your 323i should be a pretty robust car.

At bimmerforums we love pictures. Dont worry about the dent. Get a pic up.

Welcome to the forums and welcome to BMW's

I'm sure you will love your car, and as mentioned above, it's a massive step up from the Nova and should provide many years of 'Big Smile' driving.

132k is nothing for one of those, I recently sold my 1994 318is (E36) which had over 200,000 on it.
