hi, im ross and im from derbyshire/leicestershire area. i have put a deposit down on my first bmw and am picking it up on saturday (all being well). i was converted after driving my gf's e36 318ti compact. i have always had ford escorts as i find them easy to work on and some good fun can be had at a low cost. i also use a peugeot 106 for work.
after jumping out of the gf's car tho i didnt want to get in mine so have bit the bullet and got myself a e36 318is coupe.
41,000 miles in green, m spec wheels, spoiler and suspension. no sunroof but has climate control, traction control, abs and elec windows, mirrors etc.

may not sound alot to some of you but when jumping from a daily runner that only just copes with heaters its like being on the HMS titanic but without the sinking feeling!

anyway, heres a few pics but i do have one question: the person selling the car said it has traction control, what im confused about is he said he thinks its permanant. does this sound rite? as id hope i would be able to turn it on/off. now i don know enough to know what im looking for button wise so he may just not have known, but just wanted comformation as to weather i can turn it on/off or if it is permanant?

    hope them pics work

hi, im near ashby de la zouch, just round the corner from coalville. you?

not overly sure to be honest. iv googled it and theres lots about cars haveing it (apparently a very expensive extra) and from what iv seen it should have a button but il have to check in the car. he said it has traction control tho but i cant double check untill i pick the car up...but if it doesnt i shal nock him downa bit :p

does anyone have a pic of thebutton and where its situated on the dash so i can check?
