    Hi All,

firstly i'm going to be honest & say i've always been a Volvo man, but with the clutch on my daily drive going (& it not being worth the cost of replacing) i decided to go for a cheap run about till i find something newer i like. This is where my friends e36 2door 328 came in, it'd been sat on my garden for over 2 years so made him an offer & bought it. I put a battery on it & it fired within 2seconds of cranking it which i was very impressed with, & after checking it over & replacing the wiper blades & a front indicator put it thru an MOT this morning which is passed. So all in all so far i'm very impressed, it won't be taking over work duties till the beginning of next month but looking forward to having a bit of power(ish). I'm also a bit fan of GoPro's so hoping to get some entertaining footage from the RWD (where legally allowed of course)

welcome as well then, what Bimmer you got? The wheels do set it off nicely, but being 19's they bend/buckle easily so need a good refurb already. Its only bought as a daily run about so i'm hoping the 2.8 driven sensibly isn't going to be that thirsty

Welcome to the forum bud, I'm pretty new here too, and to modern cars in general to be quite honest. Love the rims, I'm surprised you walked past that car every day for 2 years without the temptation to give it a quick spin, you could have chopped the Volvo in and had an extra couple years of pure BMW awesomeness! How do you find the 19's when pulling off the mark? I'm sitting on 17's, and having a few minor issues with bottom end take off. I sacrificed the low profiles, and put on the smaller rims in an effort avoid this, but seeing as it's not making any significant difference, maybe i should go back up in size and regain the pleasure of the sexyness of the bigger rims haha

Clear front indicators would look a lot better on the 46 IMO

its actually been on my garden for 2 years lol, i'm afraid Volvo's win for me but thats another story. TBH i've only driven the car probably 4 miles, to the MOT station then back to the garden so not tried any quick getaways, but i shall let you know when i try
