    525D Se Touring. 54 reg.

    Found this forum today...looks good.
This is my second BMW, the first being a 318ti Compact which I drove for nearly 7 years (loved her). She is still in the family, my daughter has her now, and she loves her to bits.
My son has a 320i, must admit he does look 'cool' in it.

Changed up to the 525 as we needed more room.......very nice car.
On the road from 1st of this month,(July) tow bar fitted on the 3rd, nice neat job.
Slight problem, I stalled it at a junction as I was part way out, and as a car was approaching reasonably fast I decided to put her in reverse and ease back until the road was clear again. I seem to remember I was turning the key at the same time I was putting it into reverse, so the instant she started I was letting the clutch up and moving back. I had quickly checked in my mirror that no one was behind me, so was somewhat startled when the PDC sounded, but when I looked in the mirrror it was clear. Since then I get false feedback from all the sensors. Not always, but mostly, and not always the same ones, sometimes the front left , somtimes the back left...or right.
This was before the tow bar was fitted ( tow bar being the detachable one anyway). Really peeved about this because being a sad sod I loved spending an age parking in my drive just to see the 'radar' and hear the 'beeps' as they sound from different corners of the car.
I bought it privately, so no going back to a garage. Worked fine up 'till the episode at the junction.
    Errrrr......that was a long intro'.

    Any ideas?
