I am in process of moving back to the Uk and have a LHD 1991 850i I am bringing over. It only has 44000kms on it . It is a Japanese spec and therefore virtually the same as European spec with rear fogs etc. It has been lowere and has Bilsteins, re chipped removing the limiters and giving it more snap off the line.I have a Supersprint exhaust system and it has been decatted [ as it is a 1991 not mandatory in UK I believe].It also has a "Strong Strut" shock tower brace. The throttle bodies and the intake gaskets have recently been replaced.
There are a few minor issues that require attention : The drivers ac/heart vents are inoperative, the hazard lights don't work and there is an occasional backfire from the left bank- right exhaust. I also want to replace the radio with a later CD43 and I have a unit. I have a 3 spoke Steering wheel to install,Csi mirrors, front spoiler and rear splitter.Ultimately I will want a complete "good" respray. The body is good with no rust but shows 20 years of age.
