    Hi all,

I bought my first BMW last Wednesday, a late 2004 manual 330Cd in silver and I'm absolutely loving it! No plans to do anything with it except keeping it looking gorgeous and serviced. At the moment I'm just trying to get used to the huge amounts of power on tap after coming from a car with only about a third of the power. Seriously fast for a diesel.

    Thanks all .

I've got a red light on the dash all the time . I looked it up and it's the bucket shape one with the zigzag bottom and a ! in the middle - the book says it's tyre pressure warning. I've checked all the tyre pressures and they are all the same and at the correct settings. The tyres are standard ones, not RFTs. Any ideas how to shut it up? Doesn't cause me any bother really, done 400 miles since it first came on, but it makes a beep every hour or so when driving and is a bit annoying.

Rob, it's indicating that you have a puncture. The chances are you probably don't. It will come up when the tyres or wheels have been changed, which may have been done as part of the sale? Simply push and hold the reset button close to the gearstick - instructions are in the manual.

Hmm.. well no punctures here so must be faulty or something. Tyres and wheels haven't been touched so not sure what is causing it then, but when it stops raining I'll go out and give that button a try, thanks!
