    Heya Louis_23

A belated welcome to the forums

hehe the gf will get over it if she don't like white - one of my BMW's was white and I had the same g/f issue - she got over it after a drive in the car and she also fell in love with the heated seats during the winter time lol

[QUOTE=Diablo944;210626]Be aware that some of the BMW snobs pick on the compact (sorry guys, you know who you are and you do pick on them). Mostly it is those who havent owned one, or have so much money to play with that the compact was never even a considered option. When all is said and done, we can't all afford an M3, and even if we could, there are times when it just isn't practical. With that out of the way, the E36 is still a BMW and is a nice car. The rear suspension is a bit dated, but it doesn't affect the car in any way that is apparent. Plus when mr coupe pulls up at B@Q, you know he will only be picking up a short length of wood. You will be able to squeeze a lot more in a compact than most of the other models, and you wont have to saw things in half.

Here Here welcome to the forum mate just keep looking for that right one fella dont rush in to buying it. You clearly looked after your old cars wish you the best of luck on trying to find a tidy one
