    Hello There,

Ex-Londoner here, I live in California now. I recently acquired a 1994 BMW 540i Touring. I also have a 1994 530i Touring which should be gone soon.

While the 540 touring might be a bit more common or available in the UK, it is quite rare over here. This baby is going to require some restorative work on it including bodywork. I will post pictures of it when I can.

I thought it might be helpful to join the UK Bimmerforums as you chaps probably see more of these cars than we do in the states.

I look forward to getting to know the forum more.

    Cheers.

Cheers lads. Actually good to be in touch with people from back home.

California is nice - the weather is just starting to be spring like though. While not as cold as home, it has rained like it was at home Buckets and buckets!

I live in San Francisco, so it has certain similarities to home .

I like SanFransisco. We did the west coast (santa monica, santa cruz LA etc) and then drove to Las Vegas / Grang Canyon Etc. Was ace.

The sun is actually out here.......but its still cold.

    Roll on summer.

Santa Cruz and Santa Monica are great beach cities, I actually used to live in Los Angeles and enjoyed tons of time at Santa Monica. Glad to hear the Sun is out at least
