Well here goes, hi my name is Ashley im 22 from holbeach in lincolnshire (near spalding) i currently have a honda civic type r (dont hold it against me) but i really fancy a e46 330ci sport or ideally a e46 m3. My dad has always been a bmw man and im have owned a e36 m3 before and loved it. My car history is i started with a saxo vtr, then stepped up into the m3 when i turned 19, which i had on the road for all of a week after it was wrote off( not my fault.) I then moved onto a subaru impreza wrx uk300 and now the civic but ive always had the bimmer itch there.

Cheers, i can post some pics up with you guys wish.

    Welcome to bimmerforums.

Type-R........hmmm. I had one of those for about 2 months......bored the hell out of me. All blow and no go. Had a 30th Anniversary Edition.

BMWs are sooooo much nicer. Own 3 now.

yeah im bored of it if im honest, its not my cup of tea. It was just away of getting rid of my impreza as it was hard as hell to sell, so the civic was a p/x deal.

Hi my name is Terry and i am new to forums altogether. I dont even know if i am writing this post in the right place lol but hopefully one of you guys can point me in the right direction lol.

I have an e46 320d se saloon 2002 plate and i have an issue with power. Basically, when you change gear from 1st to second at high revs the turbo seems to stall for a while. If you take your foot off and then put it back on the accelerator, it goes back to normal.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Has anyone had this issue before?

It would be great if i could get to the bottom of this as the rest of the car is in mint condition.

    Thanks

    Terry

    Welcome guys

And Terry, I think you will find it forum etiquette to introduce yourself in your own thread

But you want to be asking questions in the correct forms - just have a look at the main list of them
