Okay, so today i gave my car to the mechanic to fix the humming noise caused by a wheel bearing

    - i came to pick the car up 4 hours later and started driving on the main roads and it was perfect - no humming/howling noise from rear : i was thinking that was £90 well spent

    - the when i got onto the smaller roads (with speedbumps) i could hear LOUD CLUNKS after coming of them - not when getting on them.. and obviously from the rear maybe even from the same side the bearing was changed... I think

    - its so loud people from outside can hear, and ive never had this problem prior to getting the bearing done.

------------- When i push on the rear end, the car makes a squeaking noise and when pushed harder there's quiet clunking.....

I'm not sure if i trust this mechanic, my first time going to this 'BMW specialist' garage, and as there was other E36's around - i'm suspicious

    What could be the problem?
Is this a usual temporary noise after changing wheel bearings?
