After 10 years of Fords (4 Escorts 1 Mondeo and a Puma!) I've finally taken the plunge and got a different make of car yay! The last non Ford I had was a Peugeot 205 GTI which was a nightmare, so fingers crossed this is better!
I've bought a silver 2002 3 series compact 320D. So far so good no major problems although, sometimes the drivers side door doesn't open on the remote locking sometimes have to do it a couple of times (any ideas if this is a quick fix?) and also at 40-60 mph it wanders a bit which I guess is the tracking?
I also couldn't find a Haynes manual for this model as I like to know where everything goes and the tyre pressures oil etc.
The car came with a Radio Cassette so am gonna stick my Kenwood head unit, ipod interface and Parrot kit in. I had a bit of trouble sourcing the steering remote adaptor as the first one I bought had the flat connectors not the round ones but have got one from the Just Kenwood site. I had a quick look behind the stereo and doesn't look like much room for all the cables and boxes!!
Anyway this looks a good site and hope to pick up a few tips!!
