Hi, just thought I'd drop by and say hello.

At present, I do not own a BMW but am seriously thinking about buying one this week, quiet possibly a used 3 series diesel, 320d, 4years old with 70,000 miles on the clock.

The problem I got is that allot of folk I speak to are trying to put me off by saying that they eat turbos and when the turbo goes it eats engine and cat on the exhaust?

I'm rather paranoid to say the least, I run a fleet of merc vitos (vans) and know the expensne when a turbo blows.

So, are there any issues with turbos? and if so what should I be looking for.

    Thanks for any advcie/pointers.

    Regards
    Martin

Welcome This section is just for introductions but I'll point you in the right direction - have a search on here for swirl flaps.
