    Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself seeing as this is my first experience owning a BMW.

My name's Anthony I'm 25 and live in London/Kent. I've recently purchased a 55 plate 86k 730D Sport individual spec (black with platinum) and loving it.

This forum helped me during the buying process so thanks everyone!

    Hi Anthony

Welcome to the forum, Nice car by the way and photo's are a must,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

There are issues with the 3.0D M57N or N2 engine as its just on the change over, Make sure you do (if not done already) the swirl flap delite, The DPF has issues and its worth getting it removed and coded out, you have 2 thermostats, EGR and main unit, its worth checking and see if the car runs to tempriture, and they love regular oil changes.....

The M57N2 has a crank case housing but no filter so no issues there.

BMW its an addiction, Its a drug

    Thanks for the welcome Steve.

I'll get pics up asap (should have got some today whilst there was a little sunshine)

I read about the swirl flaps, but thought they were improved on the facelift so not a necessity to remove them?

    Thanks for the tips mate
