    Hello Everyone
    I will be picking up my 120 D tomorrow.Its my first Bmw so I am not to sure what to expect.My last two cars where Nissans 200SX/350Z I ve bought the 120d as my daily driver and plan to buy a 200sx as a weekend car I was hoping to get a reflash done but I have nt got a clue with FI diesals do they det?

    Hi Leon.30, first off welcome to the forum,good to have you with us,

    The 130d can indeed be mapped through the OBD port, you would probably be looking at approx 40 bhp extra on a rolling road for around £300-350 I would have thought.

    What 200sx did you used to have? s13,s14?

    Does nt sound to bad about a tenner per bhp
    I used to have a s14a which is the one with the slanted headlights it was the fastest car I ve had and I still miss it.

    I wanted something newer and maintenance free the 200 spent a bit of time in the garage.

    Oil pump problem or turbo? or maybe head gasket?

    turbo yes oil pump and HG no which was nt bad considering I was running 1.5 bar on standard internals for two years the extra power took its toll on the engine mounts gearbox and diff.
    Picked up the 1 series yesterday handles a lot better than I expected
