hello im paul i live near portsmouth and just purchased a real clean and tidy 1986 e28 520i manual and a 1992 e34 tds auto what i want to do is put the tds lump into the sharknose but i really want to keep the manual box, i've had a few bmws before over the years and love the look of the sharknose e28s what i need to know is will the engine bolt straight to the manual box and will the looms/ecu just plug straight in etc or will i need a ecu for a manual e34 or will the ecu thats already in the e34 do the job? I will be honest and say that i no nothing about working on bmws as i'm a ford man really owning a mk2 escort van and 2 mk3 escort xr3 turbos so any infomation will be greetfully recieved! many thanks to anyone who takes time to read this and i hope with your help i can soon own a diesel sharknose! cheers, paul
