Hello, my name is Roger (which will explain the username!), and without giving too much away I live near near the sea to the North of Somerset with my girlfriend Sarah (who I am trying to convince to join up also!).

I have just taken delivery of a "51" reg 330d SE Touring Auto with grey leather and 91k on the clock. I am interested to know the name of the colour of the car, so will post a photo once I've cleaned her.

It is at this point I must apologise to you all - I will undoubtedly be asking many questions for which I am sure you will tell me to RTFM. However, the car was supplied without manuals (but with sevice book oddly), and also with only 1 key, so looks like I have an expensive trip to the stealers at some point unless the previous owner forwards them on!

    A bit about me:
I'm 28 years old, work as an Engineer in the traffic signal industry, am a car enthusiast but not as big of one as I used to be due to something which happened to me a few years ago which I won't go in to. I'm hoping the 330 will give me the spark back I used to have! SWMBO hopes so too as she really misses the local meets and shows I used to attend!

    Previous cars:
    1999 'V' Renault Clio Grande - 1st Car
2001 '51' Renault Clio 1.5dCi 65bhp dynamique with digital climate. Sold it to my father after 2 years when I bought...
2003 '53' Seat Leon Cupra R 210 - changed the wheels, exhaust, CAT, tinted windows, double-din conversion & full sound system, modified intake, remap... didn't get around to the suspension or intercoolers. Fantastic fun!
1998 'T' Ford Mondeo Ghia X 1.8TD Saloon - I think you can tell my financial circumstances had changed, and also there was that event I mentioned above. This car surprised me - it WASN'T dull to drive!! Well, not with Yokohama tyres anyway!
2002 '02' Renault Laguna 1.9dCi Dynamique Sport tourer - fantastic car, very strong body shell as my girlfriend found out when she rolled it having been forced off the road by an idiot driver! She stepped out of this without so much as a scratch!
2002 '52' Peugeot 206 1.4LX Auto - needed something small for a while (almost 3.5 years!). This ran without fault all the time I had it, until the head gasket expired big time on the way to collect the 330!! D'oh!!

I have fancied a 330d for a few years, and toyed with the idea of getting one back when I bought the Leon. In some ways I wish I had, but in others glad I didn't!

Right, that's enough about me for now, I'm off to have a search to see if I can find some info on the car, in particular how to access the washer pump for the front (low output to windscreen, no output to headlights), and access the rear washer nozzle (screenwash pours from under trim, not coming out from nozzle) - any pointes to existing threads greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the forum. With such a detailed introduction I am sure you are going to be a great asset. Fantastic choice in car, practical and fun.

We do have a few local meets and some really big national meets. Have a nose at our meets section to get an idea.
