Definitely check the cooling system! Observe any leaks from pipes (there's also a pipe going into the back of the engine) and expansion bottle.
Sometimes A/C has a mind of it's own and this can be due to a faulty "hedgehog" (FSR).
Another common fault is fuse 37 keeps getting blown. This is normally due to the wires in the boot getting frayed (on the passenger side, wires come from the car and into the bootlid. Its normally covered by a rubber insulation).
    Front lower wishbones get worn.

    If anyone can add anymore...lol

Fuse 37 is for the dash lights. These include speedometer, tachometer, centre console (hazards, window switchs, A/C and analogue clock). If I remember correctly, it is also responsible for the driver's side front side lights, driver's side rear tail lights and number plate lights. If these lights don't work and fuse 37 keep getting blown, the most likely cause is wiring going into the boot lid!
