    Hi all,

It seemed this would be the right place to say hello to everyone :-)

I've fancied a Beemer for years and got the opportunity recently. I work for an IT company supporting a local college as a contracted employee. This means I have a company car. It's a Seat Leon and not too bad, but not great.

I recently got asked if I would transfer to the college and become a full time employee. This meant a pay rise but loosing the company car so I got myself looking around and picked up an E36 325i SE. Its a b****y good car and I love driving it, but wasn't really prepared for the fuel consumption driving around town!!

It needs a few minor bits of rust bubbling sorting, a new air con condensor, and possibly a pair of front springs in the near future, but its low mileage and such a smooth drive. I cant believe how nice it is for a 16 year old car.

Now however I have been told I wont be moving over to the college as an employee and will be contracted to the college long term, which means I keep the company car :-(

I dont know what to do! Do I keep the Beemer and tidy it up a bit, or what??

Anyhow, its nice to meet you all!!

    Mike

Ah, now that would be good if it was a cabrio. Perhaps I need to save up a bit and trade up to one.

I hadnt thought of that until I looked at your car specs.
