Not sure if I'm a fan or not yet and judging by the limited time I have spent on BMW forums, not many others are either!

I'm more concerned with getting the bumper sorted for now though and haven't got the £££ to get myself a new boot with no spoiler holes in so....

Yes, too late now, but you defo need to be very careful parking frontwards into spaces as the bottom of the bumper on the Sport's is a few mm lower than most kerb stones it seems. Had a few close encounters myself and have now resorted to reversing into spaces to avoid this problem. Be careful how close you get to vehicles in front of you in traffic as well as the bonnet is deceptively longer than it looks through the windscreen. I accidentally nudged a Micra in a queue the other day, right beside a bus stop full of people too . Highly embarrassing, but luckily the old bid in the Micra didn't even notice

    Hahaha....

I had a few issues with my old mk2 Golf GTI as I'd lowered that 60mm. The splitter used to just clip (or unclip) to the bottom of the bumper though, so any curb related incidents were rectified within seconds.

Eventually I did start reversing that in everywhere, so I'm already in the habit. I think it's an idea the mrs might have learned slightly too late though.....

    Welcome to the forum Matey.
I wish I had my BMW still but it had to go so I can keep up with the latest BMW's ecu's for tuning.
SO i'm stuck with a mk4 golf for now!
If in the future I can be of assistance to you, then keep hold of my number on my signature. I'm only in Kent myself.

Good to know matey - where abouts in Kent are you?

I've been looking into somewhere local for service / work etc, but haven't found anything yet.

As she ripped the bumper off, the mrs has let me use her mk4 Golf GTI today - so I'm still yet to experience the joys of RWD BMW in the snow.

(I had Haldex four wheel drive + ESP keeping me in a straight line during the last snow - I'm guessing the 330 wont be as easy?)
