Hi I am new to this and hope to get some advice...

I have a 2004 e53 4.8is X5 and I have the following problem: The self leveling suspension fault light has come up on the dashboard, also the car has dropped at the front and the back and the green light has gone off on the switch to raise or lower the car.

Has anyone else had the same problem and if so how was it remided I had the same problem on my X5 diesel but that was only a fuse. Unfourtunately this is not the case on my current car.

I am concerned and just want to find out what the fault could be and the worst case scenerio an roughly the price to get it fixed as the car is a joy to drive and is very good and useful as my wife uses it for shopping and fetching all her stuff for the stable where she keeps her horse.

    Thank You & Kind Regards
