Firstly hello to everyone. Came across this website via a search on Google, used to be a member of BMWCarClubGB but want to find a new more active home and this seemed a good place so I have signed up, hope to be of as much use as possible and share knowledge.
I have owned a few BMWs in the past, 89' 325i Sport, (had an 95' M5 3.8 in the family) and now have an E36 328i Coupe. Unfortunately as I have got used to my Volvo C70 T5's awesome effortless pace and relaxed nature, I am looking to change my 328i with a BMW automatic in the near future. I was considering a BMW E39 540, but have decided against it and at the moment the most likely options are an E46 330i automatic or M3 SMG.
My car is the one without graphics and benefits from a recent full suspension overhaul including Boge M-tech shocks, Boge Turbo - 30/20mm lowering spring kit, all new suspension mounts and bushes (Lemforder) front and rear. Really rides firmly but isn't harsh or jarring, just as it was new but with a more taught chassis and minimised roll. If anyone is interested, I got my Boge Turbo springs from BMW specialist 'Linwar Motors' for about £105 delivered. (I don't look anything like I do in the picture anymore, I guess its true, you get better with age lol)
The company demo/track car (another 328i) features a Birds LSD (£1K), and 18" alloys.
My bike is somewhat modified from the picture (double bubble screen, hugger, flush mount indicators, scorpion can, anodised bits and bobs, single seat cowl, DID racing chain & sprockets, philips blue vision headlight bulbs).
