Hey people, just in to say hello as im new to this particular site.

Basically im a car mad Engineer from Scotland, heavily into Drifting and Track Days and making cars go faster or fixing them when they break.

Ive owned almost every performance Jap Turbo'd car you could really want to and somehow ended up with a late 96 E36 328 Mtec Sport Coupe.......... bit of a change for me since firstly there is no turbo and secondly its from Germany!!! but I did used to be a VW fanatic so maybe thats why Ive gone back to the father land.

Hopefully the missing turbo issue will be resolved in the very near future but I do get bored easily and change cars more than people change their clothes so we will see how it goes!!

Anyways, thats me in a nutshell and I hope that I can not only recieve usefull info from here but also contribute some info as well.

    allright mate

your in good company on here if you love your motors!

Also, RWD is the king of drift so you havent strayed too far!

Just check out what the Swedes do with Bimmers....it makes some of the Jap cars look a bit tame TBO (not all of them o course)

Cheers guys, Yeh Im seriously contemplating the turbo route. Ive turbo'd cars before that are not meant to have them so its nothing new, just time and money really!

Also done some mapping as well when I built my mx5 turbo as I fitted an aftermarket ECU to control the fuelling etc. aditionally when I had my RX7 I fitted a standalone and mapped that as well.

Heres some pics of me at one of my drift days, the aim is to have the 328 performing as well as my 200 did
