    Hi all,

New to beemer forums but not new to car forums as a whole as I'm a member of quite a few. Currently have a 2008 3 Series M Sport Coupe which I have to say is one of the best cars I've owned.

It's a fantastic package just sporty enouh whilst being cruisery enough as well, sometimes wish my other car felt like the Beemer to drive but then I wish the Beemer had my other cars power.

You can't have everything though (unless money is no object )

Anyway, got one or two problems so i'll do a search and if I can't find anything out see you over in the techy thread.

    Adios

    GD

Cheers, the boneshaker is a lightly modified Alfa 147 GTA, in it's present form it's good for a sub 6 second 0-60 and 160+, needs some work doing though, I broke the suspension at the weekend on a spirited run over the Pennines :(

    Hi there. Welcome

What year 147 GTA do you have ? I used to be an Alfa tech before our Dealership pulled out with them. Worked on plenty of them and drove plenty too, awesome cars when they are problem free LOL

Late 2003, unfonrtunately just before Alfa did the 330mm Brembo upgrade (and yes my discs are warped). Looking to upgrade the brakes at some point, have been looking at 330 Brembo Calipers with Brembo drilled discs but a friend has just got his mitts on some Ferrari F360 Discs and I'm kinda leaning in that direction now if I can get my mits on em cheap enough (fleabay).

It is awesome when it isn't broken, especially with a torsen diff slapped in there
